Who is Temple Luxe best for?
Temple Luxe Curly is best suited for clients with 2B or 3A curl types and medium strand density who have naturally textured hair. It pairs especially well with hair that has soft volume, slight frizz, and natural movement — hair that doesn’t lie completely flat or silky smooth. If your natural texture has life and movement, this hair will feel like it belongs.
It’s less ideal for: very fine or low-density strands, hair that is naturally ultra-silky and lays flat, or clients seeking an exceptionally fine European or Slavic strand match.

Can I straighten Temple Luxe hair?
Yes — and this is one of the biggest advantages of raw donor hair. Because the curl pattern is natural and the cuticle is intact, Temple Luxe can be straightened and will return to its curl pattern when washed. We recommend using a heat protectant and keeping tools under 400°F. Frequent high-heat straightening over time will gradually loosen the curl, so we suggest limiting it to preserve the texture long-term.
Can I color Temple Luxe hair?
Yes. Temple Luxe accepts both deposit color and lift. For deposit (going darker or adding tone), it works beautifully with minimal risk. For lifting, we recommend starting from the natural color of the hair — you can lighten from natural black, but going past a level 7 lift may affect texture longevity. Always do a strand test first and work with a professional colorist when lifting.
Which install method is right for me?
Machine wefts work best for sew-in or glue-in installs and create a high-density result. K-tips offer seamless blending and natural movement — great for fine to medium hair. I-tips are micro-beaded, making them the gentlest on the hair. Not sure? Our Install Methods Guide walks through each one.
Why are the colors limited?
Because every shade we carry has to meet the same standard as the hair itself. Temple Luxe is raw, donor-sourced hair — the color options are intentionally curated so that each one is something we can stand behind completely. We’d rather offer four shades we’re confident in than a wide range we can’t guarantee. More colors are coming, and when they do, they’ll earn their place the same way.
